• Durability tests:
It is well known in the development of polymeric materials that factors such as heat, oxygen, light and moisture generally accelerate rubber degradation. There is usually little time available to do a final test in real conditions. Therefore, accelerated aging is used. In all aging processes it is particularly important to maintain a constant temperature and, in some cases, a constant relative humidity in the air. Another important factor is the air flow around the test pieces, so that the oxygen concentration remains constant.
EB 01 II, EB 19 or EB 20 aging chambers can accelerate the aging of rubber samples according to ISO 188 method A, IEC 60811-1-2 or IEC 60216-4-3 standards, in a temperature range of + 40 ° C to + 200 ° C or + 300 ° C for the HT version. They are equipped with 4 or 6 cells that can hold up to 24 samples each.
The relaxation equipment EB 18 II 3 for continuous measurement in compression and tension meets the requirements of ISO 188 method A, ISO 899, ISO 3384-1 method A and ISO 6914. It is equipped with a hood to eliminate temperature variations and air effects.
The relaxation accessories EB 02 are used together with the furnaces EB 21, EB 22 or EB 23 for high temperatures. The oven EB 23 is composed of 4 cells with a single temperature. The 4-cell EB 21 oven with 4 different temperatures and the 6-cell EB 22 oven operating at 6 different temperatures.
• Stress relaxation test systems:
Stress relaxation tests are increasingly popular for determining rubber properties.
We offer equipment for rubber stress relaxation tests that meet the demands of continuous or discontinuous tests both in tension and compression, in liquid and air, as well as for different temperature ranges.
Meets the requirements of ISO 3384, ISO 6914 and ASTM D6147.
We offer specially designed cell furnaces for rubber stress relaxation tests. This means that the interior height of the cells is adapted to suit our relaxation platforms to achieve the best possible thermal contact with the bottom of the cell.
The oven also has an integrated firing bell that eliminates changes in strength during the test due to temperature changes in the environment around the top of the platforms.
The hood is made of polycarbonate and has a temperature control system (Peltier cooling system) capable of keeping the temperature within 0.25 ° C.
• Windshield mist tester:
It is an equipment for the determination of fogging according to ISO 6452, SAE J1756, DIN, VOLVO and SAAB and other automotive standards. The equipment has a compact design with integrated heating bath and cooling bath.
• Thermal testing:
temperature has a much greater influence on the properties of polymers than on metals or ceramics. This is not only significant because changes in real properties appear when temperature changes, but also when critical temperatures are reached at relatively low temperature levels.
For the automatic determination of low temperature characteristics by a temperature shrinkage process according to ISO 2921 and ASTM D1329.
The TR-TESTER is computerized and automatically performs the tests as soon as the enclosure is cooled and the samples are installed. Samples are automatically released after the pre-cooling period.
GEHMANN TESTER is designed for determining the relative stiffness characteristics of thermoplastic or vulcanized rubbers, also called the GEHMAN process.
This test is in accordance with ISO 1432, ASTM D1053 or their equivalent technical standards.
ET05II FRAGILITY TESTER for Test according to ISO 812, ISO 974, ASTM D744 and ASTM D2137. These methods determine the lowest temperature at which rubber materials do not exhibit fragility when impacted under the conditions indicated.
These devices are equipped with 6 stations and operate between -80°C and +20°C.
TR-Tester, GEHMAN Tester and BRITLENESS Tester can be combined using the same base unit with an accessory quick change system.
• EB30 hot test oven:
The EB30 oven is designed for hot testing of electrical cable material according to IEC 60811-507 and equivalent standards.
It is built with a window on the door. The inner chamber is made of stainless steel.
Measurements are made through the window with a laser pointer that is mounted on a measuring scale placed on the door.
• Relaxation platforms and cells:
Elastocon EB 02 is a relaxation equipment for continuous measurements of rubber stress relaxation both in compression and in tension according to ISO 3384 and ASTM D6147. The equipment works together with cell furnaces EB 21, EB 22, EB 23, programmable temperature cell furnaces EB 17 and EB 23LTP or with our temperature boxes for ambient and lower temperature tests.
• Preparation of samples:
Pneumatic sample cutting press, EP 02, and manual sample cutting press, EP 08, for the preparation of rubber and plastic test samples, by punching. The cutting presses are small and have a system to quickly change the cutting dies. They stand firm on rubber feet and do not need to be attached to the table.
